Marilu is a community tri-lingual sign language interpreter who also pastors the Deaf & Interpreter Ministry (DIM) in Orlando, FL. She leads, teaches, and mentors ministry leaders, both Deaf and Hearing. Additionally, she serves local, state, national, and international Deaf and interpreters in ministry development and leadership. As a reverend of Faith Assembly, she conducts all sacerdotal duties to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) congregants.
Marilu is the founder of Silent Hope (SH), a non-profit community outreach program forfamilies with communication disorders. Through Silent Hope she provides programs andservices including but not limited to support groups; community resources, free conversational sign language classes, workshops, ASL socials, and a summer camp for DHH children – their siblings, and CODAs.
